The ‘ply’ mobile by KDDI au is a new phone concept which takes inspiration an unlikely source: plywood.the slim mobile splits its various function between the various plys of the phone’s design. the phone isthe creation of barakan design and comes in a variety of colours. the dialpad, keyboard, gamepad,touchscreen and projector are each given a tab on the side of the phone allowing the user to switchfunctions easily. the projector function is perhaps the most unusual since the phone hinges to revealthe mini projector hidden inside. the phone is just a concept so don’t hold your breath in anticipation.

CTIA 2008 - Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition Coming Soon

At the recent CTIA 2008, the new Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition debuts amid a flurry of response. Its a beautiful piece of work with Wimax!

The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition is expected to be released in the U.S. during the summer of 2008 where WIMAX is available.

It features a big 4.13-inch touchscreen, a built-in webcam for video calls, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Mozilla browser, integrated GPS , 2GB of internal memory and a microSD expansion slot. Nokia says this thingy can also “access the Internet over WiFi or via conventional cellular data networks by pairing to a compatible mobile phone via Bluetooth technology”.

The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition has the newly updated OS2008, which includes support for Chinese characters showing up in the browser , an enhanced e-mail client , RSS feeds and “Seamless Software Update functionality” too.

Nokia has announced a new clamshell in its Prism line, the Nokia 7070 Prism. It comes with a 128 x 160 TFT display, 11MB of internal, MP3 ringtones/24polyphonic, GPRS connectivity and light indicators.

Well, it’s a damn basic phone, no camera, no Bluetooth or whatever connectivity and no memory slot.

This phone will suit for those who only use phone to call and SMS that’s it. It measures 87.5mm x 44mm x 15.8mm and weighs 78grams. The Nokia 7070 Prism is expected to be shipped in the Q3 2008

Euroset continues expanding its Luxury-line, within which it has imported the most expensive handset costing 1 mln. euros to Russia. Thus, the Russians can now buy GoldVish Piece Unique put into the Guinness Book of Records. Only three people on the planet have such a handset.

GoldVish Luxury-handsets have come to Russia. Expanding its Luxury-line Euroset has received the exclusive right to sell the entire GoldVish model range in Russia. Currently the handsets are available in Euroset three shops in Moscow. In 2008 the retailer plans to open GoldVish boutique in Moscow.

GoldVish Switzerland handsets made of 18 carat gold (of pink, yellow and white colors) and decorated with diamonds of highest quality WS1 cost from 22 to 127 thousand euros. Besides, the Russians will have the opportunity to buy the most expensive handset put into the Guinness Book of Records. GoldVish Piece Unique costs 1 mln. euro. Commenting on possible demand for excessively expensive phones in Russia, he says that the Russian market might be compared to China, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He says it is impossible to demonstrate GoldVish Piece Unique to the Russians, but they can easily order and acquire it in Euroset.
